In Russia, after a Ukrainian attack, the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat plant halted operations
According to Reuters sources, repairs may take from several weeks to several months.
The attack on Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat took place on the night of July 14. Bashkortostan head Radiy Khabirov claimed that the main facilities were not damaged. He suggested that the enterprise would fully restore operations within a few days.
According to Reuters, in 2024 the enterprise accounted for 2.7% of Russia’s total oil refining volume.
