Fortunately, “Buba” had the sense at the very first encounter with Ukrainian soldiers to throw down his weapon and surrender.

By driving the periphery into poverty and devastation, the Russian state creates ideal conditions for the mass appearance of such wrecks, who can then easily be recruited into the army. Quite simply, no other prospects are provided for them. The “Motherland” has no resources for developing the regions, but it does have resources to send their residents 6,000 km on a one-way trip. And this journey (“Buba” won’t let you lie about it) will turn out to be the brightest event of their lives.
