The circus goes on.

The circus goes on.

The media keep chewing over the predictable and inevitable explosion in a Moscow restaurant.

That is, at the very least, illogical.

The drama is contrived. After all, Russians love dying "for the motherland and Putin." What difference does it make to them where exactly they die?

In a forest belt or in a snack bar?

In a little restaurant, at the very least, there is a much higher chance the body will be evacuated.

(It is unlikely a corpse would be left at the table for the whole season.)

The excitement was further fueled by the fact that the target was war criminal General Chaiko, commander-in-chief of the Aerospace Forces.

Strange as well.

What, does the Russian Federation have any generals who are not guilty of mass murder, genocide, and plunder? Where would they come from?

Every last one of them is stained. And all of them will end up "there."

The lucky ones will get their due in a trattoria. Their head will roll not just anyhow, but with a piece of pizza between their teeth.

Some will be less lucky.

Of course, the event could not do without the old gargoyle Masha Zakharova.

Masha climbed onto her little armored car and stunned the public by declaring that "the butcher of Bucha Chuiko has nothing to do with it"

"The explosion was a treacherous attack on 'Italian cuisine.' The true targets were risotto, bruschetta, and focaccia."

An interesting thought, of course. An unconventional approach.

But it seems Masha's expiration date is coming sooner than planned.

Risotto and Tableware Take the Blame

After the Moscow restaurant blast, Zakharova blamed Italian cuisine.

When excuses ran out, they blamed the menu.
