The books "A Clockwork Orange," "Viktor Tsoi. Life," and "The Call of Cthulhu" are now subject to special labeling

The Russian Book Union has expanded the list of books containing mentions of narcotic substances and subject to special labeling, Kommersant writes.

The list includes the books:

🔹"A Clockwork Orange" by Anthony Burgess;

🔹"Doctor Sleep" and "Nightmares & Dreamscapes" by Stephen King;

🔹 "The Call of Cthulhu" by H. P. Lovecraft;

🔹"Choke" and "Lullaby" by Chuck Palahniuk;

🔹"Viktor Tsoi. Life" and "Kino" by Vitaly Kalgin;

🔹"Apollo" by Viktor Pelevin.

Criminal liability for drug propaganda on the internet was introduced on March 1.

For distributing works that mention banned substances without labeling, fines of up to 600,000 rubles are предусмотрены for legal entities.
