Over the past two years, high-ranking Russian generals have been dying not only at the front, but also in the rear, as a result of assassination attempts. At least three military commanders were killed in explosions in Moscow and the Moscow region. Another was shot at, but survived. The latest intended victim was probably Alexander Chaiko, who was only recently appointed head of Russia’s Aerospace Forces. According to Telegram channels, he was the target of the explosion near Moscow’s Balzi Rossi restaurant on August 1.
