Organizers of boat tours along St. Petersburg’s rivers and canals have complained about the consequences of the fuel crisis. They told Fontanka that amid the gasoline shortage they are being forced to stand in lines at gas stations and drive around with canisters from one station to another, or limit their working hours and lose income.

Large motor ships that run on diesel have also faced restrictions, though “not as critical,” the outlet writes. As part of the fight against profiteers, they have been banned from filling canisters with diesel and quotas have been introduced for refueling on a single fuel card. Because of this, the vessels have to go to gas stations more often.

At the same time, neither boat and yacht owners nor motor ship owners are planning to raise prices for their services for now.
