Mikhail Fedorov, who served as Ukraine’s defense minister for six months, apparently will not be reappointed in the new government.

Fedorov lost his post amid the resignation of the entire government. According to media reports, some ministers will keep their posts in the new government, while the head of the Defense Ministry will be replaced.

The main reason for Fedorov’s removal from the leadership of the ministry was his conflict with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.

Western partners are surprised by the sudden кадровые reshuffles. Protests have begun in Ukraine, while Russian Z-propaganda is rejoicing over the dismissal of a “man dangerous for Russia” from the minister’s post.
