Oryol Region has canceled the odd-even refueling system based on vehicle license plates

On July 4, the region became the first in Russia to introduce this system, and has now become the first to cancel it.

As Governor Andrei Klychkov said, for more than a week now there have been no lines at gas stations in the region.

"The odd-even system proved effective and achieved its main goal: to remove unjustified panic," the governor noted.
