Russian billionaires’ yachts have gathered near Turkey’s Bodrum, where Putin’s superyacht arrived from Russia

The superyachts of at least six Russian billionaires have arrived at Turkey’s southern and southwestern coast near Bodrum, where Vladimir Putin’s yacht Victoria sailed from Russia at the end of June, Verstka has found.

As of July 16, Victoria, which is used by the president’s family, is off the coast of the village of Bozbuk, 84 km from Bodrum. The yacht is anchored about 400 meters from the beaches belonging to the five-star Six Senses Kaplankaya hotel.

Also there since yesterday morning is the 55-meter yacht Rhea (formerly Halo), which belongs to Roman Abramovich. Rhea is anchored about 800 meters from the president’s yacht; it is the closest vessel to Victoria.

On the other side of the Bodrum Peninsula is the 62-meter yacht Serenity & Unity (formerly Sea & Us), which according to the U.S. Department of Justice is used by VTB head Andrei Kostin and his mistress Nailya Asker-zade. Off the same southern coast of Bodrum is the 80-meter yacht Genesis of Lukoil owner Vagit Alekperov.

A little farther to the southeast lies the 82-meter vessel Romea. Its owner, Alexander Nesis, is the founder of Russia’s largest silver producer, Polymetal.

Also off the southern coast, in Kille Bay near the city of Dalaman, Oleg Deripaska’s superyacht Altair (formerly Clio), 73 meters long, has been at anchor for a week. North of the president’s yacht is the 73-meter vessel Predator, attributed to Iskander Makhmudov, co-owner of UMMC and a Defense Ministry contractor.

🩵Victoria is a 71-meter yacht worth about $30 million. Verstka reported that the vessel formally belongs to structures linked to Gennady Timchenko, a friend of Vladimir Putin. Later, the Dossier Center found that the yacht is used by people from the president’s inner circle, including Alina Kabaeva and her friends. Victoria is based in Sochi. At the end of June, it sailed to Turkey.
