In Oryol Region, the even-odd fueling system was scrapped
In Oryol Region, the car fueling system introduced at the beginning of the month was scrapped. Under that scheme, cars with an even first digit on their license plate could refuel on even-numbered calendar days, and those with an odd digit on odd-numbered days, Governor Andrei Klychkov said.
The head of the region said that for “more than a week, no lines have been seen at gas stations in the region.”
At the same time, fuel dispensing limits remain in place in the region: within the city, no more than 30 liters of gasoline per car; on highways, no more than 50 liters, “to combat resellers.”

Lines Gone, Limits Still Running
The even-odd rule was scrapped, but fuel limits stayed in place.
The shortage only left the announcement.
