Russia’s Defense Ministry Accused Ukraine of Violating the Ceasefire
According to the military ведомство, "during the ceasefire, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out 1,173 shelling attacks on the positions of our troops using artillery guns, multiple launch rocket systems, mortars, and tanks."
"They also launched 7,151 strikes using unmanned aerial vehicles," the statement says.
The Defense Ministry also accused Ukraine of 12 attacks on the positions of Russian units since the start of the ceasefire. At the same time, it said that during this period the Russian side had not carried out strikes with aircraft, artillery, or drones on Ukrainian positions. However, "under conditions of ceasefire violations, (the Russian military — editor’s note) responded symmetrically."
