A column of wives and mothers of participants in the war against Ukraine took part in the Victory Day parade in Chita
The city administration circulated video of it. Cadets from a boarding school for cadets also marched in the column.
All the women were dressed alike, with military tunics draped over their shoulders.
In the video, the announcer calls them “a symbol of responsibility, loyalty, and unbending faith in those who are now on the front line.” He listed several servicemen whose female relatives marched in the parade formation.
“Behind every step of this column are faith, hope, and love. In every gaze are the pain of loss and boundless pride,” the announcer said.
