Former OVD-Info director Aleksandr Polivanov declared a “foreign agent”

Here is how Polivanov himself commented on the news:

“Just half an hour ago I was bored out of my mind on the Vilnius-Riga bus and thinking about how to kill time. I’m on vacation right now and had even forgotten that today is Friday. And then dozens of messages from friends! Well, at least the ride won’t be boring now.”

“There is nothing good about the status itself, but I’m certainly not going to grieve too much over it. So they declared me one, they declared me one, nothing страшного. Donate to OVD-Info, if you can.”

We explained in detail exactly how the “foreign agent” legislation works here: ovdinfo.legal/instruction/inoagent.

A Friday blacklist fills the trip

Polivanov was labeled a foreign agent while riding to his vacation.

The state still excels at labeling people.
