A member of United Russia called women incomplete human beings and unmarried men disabled.

State Duma deputy from the Kurgan Region Aleksandr Iltyakov made the statement on the talk show "What Are We Waiting For?" on the Oblast 45 channel.

During his speech, he referred to the Bible and recalled the origin of woman. According to him, at first there was one human being, a man. A rib was taken from him and a woman was created from it, the deputy said.

"Therefore, a woman cannot be a complete human being, because she does not have the very state of the body. A man cannot be a complete human being either: he is disabled, he will never be able to live without a wife," said the United Russia representative
