In Krasnodar Krai, authorities ordered the formation of Cossack firing groups to defend against UAV attacks

After a UAV attack on Arkhipo-Osipovka, where six people were killed and about 40 were injured, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratyev proposed involving Cossacks more actively in mobile firing groups to defend cities and facilities from drones. According to him, the Cossacks should form the backbone of such units.

Participants will sign a contract with the Ministry of Defense, but they will not be sent to the special operation zone. Krasnodar Krai promises to pay each fighter 50,000 rubles a month. He stressed that the Cossacks should become a key element of these formations.
