Tomsk radio host with a Czech residence permit remanded in custody for two months in FBK donation caseThe Kirovsky District Court of Tomsk has sent Alexander Lunev to pretrial detention for two months on suspicion of financing extremism because of donations to the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), vtomske.ru reports vtomske.ru.

According to the outlet, the radio host and IT manager, who worked for Radio Sibir, was detained on August 3. In court, he said that he now lives in Prague and has a wife and a small child.

The case against Lunev was opened over seven donations to FBK totaling seven thousand rubles. According to the Investigative Committee’s version, he made them from August 2021 through February 2022.

They also noted that during the search, two foreign passports, a bank card, and a Czech residence permit ID were seized from Lunev. He did not bring his internal Russian passport with him on his trip to Russia.
