A drone was found in Poland 20 km from the Russian border


According to RMF FM, the drone was discovered on May 9 in a field near the town of Bartoszyce, about 20 km from the border with the Kaliningrad region.


The small drone has inscriptions in Cyrillic. “Given its proximity to the border, it can be assumed that the drone is Russian. The Russian military may have been conducting some kind of exercises and, frankly speaking, may have lost the object,” a source close to the Ministry of National Defence told Onet.


“Initial actions at the scene indicate that this is probably a military drone, but not a strike one, rather one intended for surveillance,” Poland’s military police said.
