Roblox has been fined 8 million rubles for “LGBT propaganda.”

Moscow’s Tagansky District Court imposed fines on the Roblox developer company under two administrative reports based on the article on “LGBT propaganda,” Ostorozhno, Novosti and Mediazona report.

The judge said that in September 2025, Roskomnadzor identified certain violations connected with a “positive assessment of non-traditional values.”

As a reminder, in December Roskomnadzor blocked Roblox in Russia over the “justification of extremism and terrorism,” as well as calls for violence and “LGBT propaganda.”
