Transport Ministry Says Air Service to Southern Destinations Has Been Fully Restored
According to the statement, at 9:00 a.m. Moscow time, “the NOTAMs on the previously introduced restrictions were canceled”; air traffic control is now being carried out without capacity or transit restrictions.
Recall that operations at 13 airports in southern Russia were suspended on May 8 after a UAV attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the building of the Aeronavigation of Southern Russia branch in Rostov-on-Don.
South Reopens Right After the Hit
After the attack, restrictions on 13 southern airports were lifted.
Full restoration now means the ban was canceled.
