The Central Election Commission set the party order on the State Duma election ballot. United Russia is first, Yabloko is second
The Central Election Commission held a draw and approved the order in which 11 parties will appear on the ballot in the upcoming election.
The ballot will look like this:
1. United Russia
2. Yabloko
3. LDPR
4. Party of Direct Democracy
5. REP Greens
6. A Just Russia
7. Rodina
8. CPRF
9. Party of Pensioners
10. Communists of Russia
11. New People
Places on the ballot are determined at random. After the draw, Yabloko chairman Nikolai Rybakov said that he pulled the number he wanted:
The real choice in the election is either United Russia or Yabloko. Our number is two. Now we know that the citizens of our country have the opportunity to vote for peace and freedom, for people’s lives, for [number] two.
