A Russian drone hit a house in Kyiv tonight where Sergei Beskrestnov, an adviser to Ukraine’s defense minister known by the call sign “Flash,” lives.

Beskrestnov himself, he says, “miraculously survived.” He claims that the drone strike was not accidental — the drone was being controlled from Russian territory and was deliberately flying in order to kill him.

Beskrestnov is one of Ukraine’s leading experts on drones and electronic warfare. Since January, he has been working as an adviser to the defense minister on this area.
