The Transport Ministry has allowed money allocated for road repairs and maintenance to be spent on protecting and restoring them after shelling, Kommersant writes, citing a ministry order.

“The issuance of the order will ensure the anti-terrorist protection of road infrastructure facilities, which will have a positive effect on the safety of road users, the preservation of structures, and the reduction of risks of damage for business entities,” the explanatory note says.

Road Maintenance Now Includes Shelling Damage

The ministry let road funds cover damage after shelling.

War is now listed under road maintenance.
