American farmer-blogger Justus Walker is being expelled from Russia along with his family. He has lived in Russia since 1994

Justus Walker himself said on his social media that he received a notice from the Federal Migration Service that his residence permit had been canceled and that he would then be expelled.

“We absolutely do not want to leave Russia; this is not our wish. We want to live here, keep building, keep investing. As I already said, this year we basically put everything we had on hand into further construction, into this project here in Altai, and for us this is shocking news,” he said.

In a conversation with the outlet Borus, Walker added that he has lived in Russia since 1994, got married here, and his children were born here.

“So far we don’t know anything. We live in the middle of nowhere, in a village, and we ourselves were asked to come in for clarification on Monday, where they will give us the specific papers,” he added.

🔵Walker became known in 2014 after a Vesti report on Russia’s countersanctions: speaking about restrictions on imports of European products, Walker said with a laugh: “There won’t be your Italian cheese.”
