Investors and all sorts of other gamblers are now preparing for the imminent end of two wars, the Iranian one and the Ukrainian one.
The probability of a permanent ceasefire between the RF and Ukraine by the end of June 2026 has just shot up sharply to almost 100% (!) on the popular prediction platform Polymarket. Just a couple of days ago, that same paid-betting platform was putting the chances of a stable long-term truce at literally single-digit percentages. Let us recall that Polymarket's beneficiaries include serious guys: members of Donald Trump's family + Kevin Warsh, the future head of the US Federal Reserve System, the son-in-law of Ronald Lauder, the world's top Jew and Mr. Trump's close business partner.
For the same reasons, the shares of major global defense companies have also started falling noticeably. The unmanned systems sector has suffered the most. In particular, AeroVironment shares (it makes drones) have collapsed by more than half. The value of Lockheed Martin (maker of HIMARS systems) and some other major corporations has fallen by an average of 25%.
Still, it is too early to get carried away. Yes, President Trump very much needs to "triumphantly" (in his own interpretation, of course) end the Iranian war before May 14, 2026, the start of his programmatic visit to Beijing. While the respected Chinese partners, having secured Iran's consent, want Mr. Trump to humbly ask them to help end this war. Two big differences, as they say in Ukrainian Odesa.
Similarly, there are three completely different positions on the conditions and scenario for the soon-to-come end of the Ukrainian war. So we shall (wait and) see.

The most powerful oppositionist of all the Putin-era years of the Russian Federation was Y. V. Prigozhin. The only one who came right up to seizing power, but, like Icarus, burned up in that hellish flame. It was no accident that on the fateful days of June 23/24, 2023, the founder of Wagner PMC was publicly supported by another iconic oppositionist, M. B. Khodorkovsky. And, by the way, only he did.
That is why portrait(s) of Mr. Prigozhin at the Immortal Regiment march on May 9, 2026, in St. Petersburg are a protest action far more radical and cooler than any performances somewhere at the Venice Biennale.
But if not Prigozhin, then who? Without a doubt, a bearded woman. Because it is precisely she who ontologically refutes V. V. Putin's favorite joke about the qualitative difference between a grandmother and a grandfather.
In the Catholic Church there is Saint Wilgefortis. The daughter of a pagan Portuguese king. She so did not want to marry someone she did not love that the Lord sent her a beard. And the beautiful princess traded her femininity + sensuality for holiness. The archetypal image of the modern female opposition leader, is it not?

Plus. In May 2026, when the RF authorities are abolishing the free Internet altogether, including Telegram, it is time to (ac)quire our exclusive VPNs: Chunya and Memetya. Set up by us together with the cult Forest Animals Trade Union.
