In Moscow, the former and current heads of a drone manufacturing company have been arrested in a fraud case
The Kuzminsky District Court has arrested the current and former CEOs of the unmanned systems manufacturer Drone Solutions, Vyacheslav Barbasov and Irakli Khazaliya. Kommersant reports this.
They are suspected of fraud on an especially large scale (Part 4 of Article 159 of the Russian Criminal Code). Details of the case are unknown.
Drone Solutions was registered in 2018. It develops and manufactures unmanned aerial systems and software for them. The company’s website says its drones can operate in virtually any climate conditions.
A stake in Drone Solutions is owned by the National Technology Initiative (NTI) fund. The fund itself was established by Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade.
