Russian forces struck Kharkiv's Saltivskyi district on the morning of August 9, Kharkiv regional administration head Oleh Syniehubov said.

As a result of the attack, an apartment building was damaged. Two people were killed, men aged 50 and 66. At least 21 people were injured: 11 suffered blast injuries, and two were diagnosed with carbon monoxide poisoning. Another eight people, including a five-year-old boy, suffered acute stress reactions.
