Ukraine has completed repairs to the Druzhba oil pipeline, Zelensky says
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that “Ukraine has carried out repair work on the section of the Druzhba oil pipeline that was damaged by a Russian strike.”
“The oil pipeline can resume operation. Although no one can now guarantee that Russian strikes on the oil pipeline’s infrastructure will not happen again, our specialists have ensured the basic conditions for resuming the operation of the pipeline system and equipment,” Zelensky said.
🔵At the end of 2025, European leaders agreed on a 90 billion euro loan for Ukraine, but it was blocked by Hungary after the Druzhba oil pipeline was damaged.
Viktor Orbán demanded that the oil pipeline start transporting Russian oil again and threatened to halt gas supplies to Ukraine.
