A Stalin memorial was installed in a hamlet near Rostov-on-Don with “people’s money”

During celebrations marking the 81st anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, a commemorative marker to Joseph Stalin was installed in the hamlet of Leninavan near Rostov-on-Don.

As the newspaper Molot writes, the memorial was installed at the initiative of a local branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the local homeowners’ association (TSN) “Berezki.” According to TSN chairman Sergei Tretyakov, the commemorative marker was installed with “people’s money,” and the idea was supported by local residents.
