Rapper Ganvest fined 70,000 rubles for drug propaganda

The court found the musician (real name Ruslan Gominov) guilty under administrative article 6.13 of the Russian Code of Administrative Offenses, report Ostorozhno, Novosti.

The grounds for the protocol were his tracks “Nikotin” and “Bardak.” An expert examination found in them the “formation of a positive attitude” toward banned substances.

In March, the rapper was fined 95,000 rubles because of the track “Vika lyubit Pepe.” He was accused of “clear disrespect for society.” Complaints against Ganvest were written by activists from the Sorok Sorokov movement and the head of the Safe Internet League, Yekaterina Mizulina.

Against the backdrop of tightening censorship in the country, Russian musicians began editing their songs. Ganvest said that he would censor 25 of his tracks.
