Palantir CEO Alex Karp arrived in Kyiv, where he met with Defense Minister Fedorov and President Zelensky.
"It is symbolic that Alex became one of the first CEOs of major Western tech companies to personally come to Kyiv after the start of the full-scale invasion in June 2022 and support Ukraine. Since then, we have been actively cooperating.
The results of this cooperation:
a system for detailed analysis of air attacks;
AI solutions for working with large volumes of intelligence data;
integration of technologies into deep strike planning"
, wrote Mykhailo Fedorov.
The importance of this visit is hard to overestimate. It is as if, условно, the head of Raytheon or Lockheed Martin had arrived in Kyiv. Though maybe this is even cooler: as of today, Palantir already exceeds Raytheon in market capitalization (33rd place versus 44th among all American companies, with Lockheed Martin in 94th).
And obviously, Karp did not come to Kyiv just to hang out, they are going to discuss, build, and implement something.
As for Karp, you have probably heard about his manifesto "The Technological Republic." I am far from agreeing with every point in this manifesto, just as I do not agree with those who call it "digital fascism"; I consider that an exaggeration, because technocracy (healthy technocracy, I stress) is the natural path of humanity's development. But that is perhaps a topic for a separate video, whose time, I hope, will come someday. My point is: if you have not read the manifesto, Yigal Levin published a retelling of it, I recommend reading it, this is simply something you need to know and be aware of:
