The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense intercepted a conversation between two occupiers about expected reinforcements made up of foreigners. The Russian military does not even hide that they need mercenaries as “can openers” — to move along designated points in order to expose Ukrainian positions with their own bodies. They can be forced by any means, as long as afterward they are still able to go where they are told:

“You can beat the shit out of them, but not on the legs — the legs are needed. Other than that, yes, you can, we’ll have to make them go, otherwise we’ll have to go ourselves. They’re not exactly eager, fuck, so we’ll have to force them anyway”

It is noteworthy that the Russians are genuinely surprised that “foreign specialists” could in principle refuse to do something, because they “signed a contract”! In their paradigm, someone who has signed a contract becomes practically a powerless slave, obliged to carry out every order without question, and with whom the “master” has the right to do anything.
