A Krasnodar Krai resident was fined over a post with “Kitolf Kitler”
A court in Krasnodar Krai fined a Sochi resident under the article on displaying banned symbols for a Telegram post with “Kitolf Kitler,” Verstka noted.
Police officers drew up the administrative offense report on April 10. Law enforcement officers’ attention was drawn to a post with “the symbolism of ‘Kitolf Kitler,’” which, as stated in the court ruling, “is Nazi paraphernalia used by the Third Reich”.
At the same time, the documents do not specify exactly which post is meant. It is likely referring to a photograph of a cat with a distinctive facial coloring resembling Adolf Hitler’s mustache and hairstyle. Whether the post contained any other symbolism is unknown.
During the hearing, the local resident admitted his guilt, confirmed all the facts stated in the report, and repented for what he had done. The court considered this a mitigating circumstance and imposed a fine of one thousand rubles.
