Initially, the message about the commuter train derailment in the Belgorod region said that the reason for the missing section of railway track could have been the detonation of an explosive device.
Later, that information disappeared from the post; it now says that the missing section of track “could have been caused by damage.”
Why the post was edited is unknown. No details are given about what caused the train to derail. The transport prosecutor’s office has begun an inspection.
