A refinery in Orenburg Region halted oil processing after an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Two industry sources told Reuters this. After the attack, a fire broke out at the facility in Orsk.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) confirmed the strike on the plant. The refinery’s owner, Forteinvest, did not respond to the agency’s request.
The Orsknefteorgsintez plant is located in Orenburg Region. It was attacked on the night of August 11. After that, the region introduced limits on gasoline sales and an odd-even system.
