Businesses in Russia increased purchases of anti-drone protection systems sevenfold


Demand from commercial companies in Russia for anti-drone protection systems in the first six months of 2026 reached 441.3 million rubles. It rose 6.6 times compared with the same period last year.


Representatives of Kontur Zakupki confirm the trend. According to their statistics, in monetary terms the volume of purchases grew by 49% to 25.71 million rubles (the company counts purchases within its own service, which aggregates several platforms).


Purchases of such systems grew especially noticeably after Vladimir Putin at the end of May instructed the presidential administration and the government to work out, jointly with business, proposals for protecting enterprises from drone attacks.
