The Defense Ministry’s main food supplier posted record annual revenue, doubling to 172 billion rubles

RBE, the company that replaced Yevgeny Prigozhin’s structures as the main food supplier for the Russian military, earned record revenue of 172.7 billion rubles in 2025. This is shown by data from the state register of accounting reports, which was noted by Verstka.

That amount was 2.2 times higher than the 2024 figure of 76.99 billion rubles, which at the time had also been a record. Since the start of its cooperation with the Defense Ministry, the company has begun earning eight times more: in 2023, the holding’s revenue was 19.6 billion rubles.

At the same time, RBE’s net profit in 2025 fell by 734 million rubles and totaled 7.8 billion rubles. The lack of improvement in this indicator is linked to the company’s rising expenses, particularly wages.

🩵Until spring 2024, RBE belonged to its founder, Samara entrepreneur Andrey Shokin, as well as Nikolai Ruzanov, a former co-owner of the Shokoladnitsa coffeehouse chain. After that, the company came under the ownership of two joint-stock companies that do not disclose their beneficiaries. The Sistema project wrote that RBE may be working in the interests of billionaires Andrey Bokarev and Iskandar Makhmudov, who are close to Sergei Shoigu.
