The State Duma has passed a bill to write off loans of up to 10 million rubles for everyone who signs a contract with the Defense Ministry from May 1
TASS reports this. There are two conditions for this provision to apply: the contract for military service must be signed for a term of at least one year and no earlier than May 1, 2026. In addition, by that same date, a court ruling on debt collection must have entered into force or an enforcement document must have been issued.
The bill applies to those who signed a contract and their spouses.
