Prosecutor’s Office initiated criminal prosecution of comedian Sasha Dolgopolov
It is reported that the prosecutor’s office “identified informational material containing a recording of a performance” by comedian Sasha Dolgopolov.
According to the prosecutor’s office, Dolgopolov made “a statement aimed at insulting the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland, humiliating the honor and dignity of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, as well as diminishing the significance of their feat.”
The prosecutor’s office said it wants to bring the comedian to criminal responsibility under the article on the “rehabilitation of Nazism.”
