FBK showed the Spanish villa of State Duma deputy Makarov

United Russia deputy Andrey Makarov has sat in the Duma since its first convocation. He is now responsible for the budget and taxes, while his daughter Alexandra and his supposedly former wife Natalya handle the family business and assets. Thus, in Dubai, on Palm Jumeirah island, an apartment with an area of 268 square meters in the Serenia Residences complex is registered to Natalya; its value is 300 million rubles. Makarov regularly visits Dubai together with his ex-wife.

Makarov is also hiding a villa in Spain, which he bought in 2011 for 1.3 million euros and registered in his own name, as well as in the names of his wife and daughter. FBK managed to film this estate on video. On a plot of almost 3,000 square meters, half of which is occupied by trees, there is a three-bedroom house with a pool and a patio. In his 2016 declaration, the deputy listed his estate on the Costa Brava, but not later; after the sham divorce, the villa is no longer mentioned. And since 2022, Makarov in fact cannot use his estate because of European sanctions.
