A capital court has sentenced former Kommersant journalist Vladimir Solovyov to three years in prison in absentia
The Savyolovsky District Court of Moscow found him guilty of participating in the activities of an "undesirable" organization, the Carnegie Foundation. Solovyov's articles about Transnistria were regularly published on the online platform Carnegie Politika.
The court sentenced Vladimir Solovyov to three years in prison and banned him for three years from engaging in activities related to website administration.
