Roskomnadzor officially responded to a complaint from a viewer who demanded that Vladimir Solovyov be held accountable for using the word “pidoras” on the air of the program “Solovyov Live.”

As Ostorozhno, Novosti writes, the agency concluded that this word is not included in the list of obscene language, but is merely classified as jargon and derogatory. In addition, the regulator stated that Telegram channels are not mass media outlets, so the requirements of the media law do not apply to them.
