What thoughts can there even be here? People still cannot learn from the experience of humanity’s many thousands of years of history that wars lead to nothing except violence and losses. I live in some kind of dystopian book, where people come to your university 20 times to advertise and campaign for a contract job operating drones. Where you cannot express your thoughts, where you cannot use what you are used to, where all you can do is endure, look at endless little posters with war games, flags of this wonderful country at every step, whose meaning was lost long, long ago. The war has turned the life of every person from both countries into some kind of bloody, disgusting mush that we are all being fed, and if someone resists, they will become the next ingredient in this dish.

And of course I cannot help but be “delighted” by the consequences of this whole spectacle: censorship, internet censorship, getting your hands slapped for bypassing censorship. My future specialty is information security, only I have the feeling that I will not need it, there will be nothing to work with. The only job openings will be at Roskomnadzor — helping them destroy what people once spent so long building. This is how the war has touched my life: it has practically wiped my future profession, my only interest, my prospects, and everything connected with them off the face of the earth. Of course, this cannot compare with the fact that many people have lost homes, relatives, friends, far more than I have, and I sincerely sympathize with them. But I am tired too; because of all this, to be honest, I have practically lost the meaning of life.
