Rodina party leader Alexey Zhuravlyov spent more than ten years filing some of the most modest income declarations around, showing earnings of up to 7 million rubles a year and no housing. Vyorstka found that at the same time, his daughter, “secret wife,” and former spouse owned real estate worth about 300 million rubles.
Zhuravlyov divorced his first wife Elena in 2015, after which he filed declarations as a poor single man by State Duma standards. Vyorstka established that as far back as 2011, Zhuravlyov had begun sharing property with a new partner, Yevgeniya Shaimova, who gave birth to his two children in 2014 and 2017.
The deputy’s companion was found to have five parking spaces and two neighboring apartments with a total area of 317 square meters in the gated business-class residential complex Rublevskoye Predmestye. In Crimea, Shaimova bought two plots near Yalta totaling almost 25 sotkas, with a 150-square-meter house. The value of all these assets is about 150 million rubles.
Zhuravlyov has not forgotten his first family either. In 2017, his new partner transferred to his former wife Elena Zhuravleva a 40-square-meter apartment on Novy Arbat in Moscow. In 2020-2021, the woman bought four parking spaces, an apartment, and three non-residential premises with a total area of more than 400 square meters in the elite Galereya Chizhova residential complex in central Voronezh.
The total value of all assets held by the deputy’s first family is about 125 million rubles, Vyorstka calculated. At the same time, Elena Zhuravleva is not in business, and at her last job she earned 39,000 rubles a month.
For a long time, Zhuravlyov’s declarations did not even include any transport; only in 2026 did he report a BMW motorcycle, which, according to Vyorstka, was gifted to him by former Roscosmos chief Dmitry Rogozin. At the same time, according to leaks, the deputy and his wife use as many as six foreign cars, including a Mercedes-Benz E 300 4MATIC, Land Rover Discovery, and Porsche Macan.

The deputy filed modest declarations while assets sat with his ex-wife and partner.
The declarations went broke, not the property.
