The war through the eyes of Meduza readers. Today we publish a letter from Anastasia from Sverdlovsk Oblast

I’m scared. It’s getting scarier with each passing day. Maybe I’m exaggerating too much. My friends say I’m very anxious. But this is the situation: I have nightmares, and every day I start getting text messages about UAV attacks.

I just want it all to end, I want peaceful skies overhead, I want the old men to stop losing their minds, I want to wake up and not see a single bad piece of news, I want them to stop blocking everything. I just want to live a normal life.

We’re tired, we’re all very tired. Some people live under a dome, avoiding the whole situation, but things are bad. I’m afraid to imagine what will happen next week, in a month, in six months. I can’t just sit and not react to what is happening.

I’m 26, but it feels like I’m already losing my mind from all of this. I hope someday it ends.
