There has been a prisoner exchange.
There has been a prisoner exchange.
So far only the first stage, 205 for 205. But профильные channels are writing that a continuation is expected, everything remains in force.
\\
As always, useful links regarding prisoners of war:
▪️safely surrender into captivity: "I Want to Live";
▪️search for Russian Armed Forces servicemen in Ukraine: "I Want to Find" and "Our Way Out";
▪️other useful information: Dmitry "Apostle" Karpenko.
P.S. Previously people asked whether there is a project in Russia for searching for Ukrainian prisoners of war, similar to “I Want to Find” and “Our Way Out” — unfortunately, I do not know of one. The problem is that, unlike Ukraine, Russia does not have a separate prisoner-of-war camp at all, as required by the Geneva Conventions. Ukrainian prisoners are held in ordinary pretrial detention centers under cruel conditions, which makes finding them extremely difficult.
Exchange Moves, Search System Missing
The exchange began: 205 for 205, with more expected.
When it comes to finding POWs, the state is missing again.
