Neurologist Vasily Generalov has been arrested on fraud charges. In his clinic, they "treat autism" with diets and the expulsion of parasites
Moscow's Chertanovo District Court has remanded Vasily Generalov, the founder and chief physician of the PlanetaMed clinic, in custody until September 28.
The day before, his clinic was searched as part of a criminal case involving fraud, causing grievous bodily harm through negligence, and the unlawful circulation of means of payment.
Generalov faces up to ten years in prison. Another doctor detained in the case was placed under house arrest. His name has not been disclosed.
According to investigators, from December 2017 to April 2026, the defendants misled the parents of patients and convinced them of the need for paid treatment. Payment for such services was transferred to bank cards belonging to front persons.
