Russia transferred 528 bodies of dead soldiers to Ukraine
The Russian side claims that the remains belong to Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers, Ukraine's Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported. Ukrainian law enforcement agencies will carry out identification of the remains.
The day before, State Duma deputy Shamsail Saraliyev announced that Russia and Ukraine would conduct an exchange of the bodies of dead soldiers. According to his data, 528 bodies of the dead will be transferred to Kyiv, and 41 bodies of the dead to Moscow. Russia's Defense Ministry did not report the exchange of bodies of the dead.
