Russian schools have begun holding lessons on the dangers of using VPN services, inviting police officers, psychiatrists, and Federal Penitentiary Service employees to them.

Schools have been reporting on such classes on their VK pages, “Verstka” noticed (the Russian Justice Ministry considers the outlet a “foreign agent”).

As journalists were able to find out, lectures and classes about the harms of VPNs have taken place in schools in the Vologda, Irkutsk, Rostov, Arkhangelsk, and Vladimir regions, as well as in a number of other regions.

Schools Turn VPN Fear Into Curriculum

Russian schools are holding anti-VPN lessons with police, psychiatrists, and prison officials.

Fear passed for education again.
