❗️In Finland, police detained anti-war activist Roman Golikov, who had previously been denied asylum

This was reported to TV Rain by former municipal deputy from St. Petersburg Svetlana Utkina. According to her, Golikov was taken to a police station in Raisio near Turku, where people awaiting deportation are held.

Utkina notes that Golikov, who “was engaged in activism in Finland” and “donated to the FBK” and independent media, “has no documents, no passport.”

“They could immediately take him through the Brusnichnoye checkpoint, that’s the border with Russia, people are usually deported from there,” she added.

🔵On April 7, as Golikov told Mediazona, he was summoned to the police, where he was informed that the Supreme Administrative Court had not suspended the deportation, and therefore he would be expelled from the country. This came after the court recognized as credible the facts set out in Golikov’s application, but considered them insufficient for asylum.
