Two industry sources told the agency this.

The Ryazan oil refinery, which belongs to Rosneft, accounts for nearly 5% of the country’s total refining volume.

It is located 354 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

🔵On the night of May 15, Ryazan was attacked by 99 drones, according to local authorities. Four people were killed, and at least 28 were injured.

🔵After the attack on the Ryazan refinery, city residents published photos showing the aftermath of an “oil rain.”

🔵The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the “Ryazansky” refinery produces gasoline, diesel fuel, and jet fuel used to meet the needs of the Russian army.
